▸ DNS Setup Options Full Setup — Nameservers point to Cloudflare. Full DNS, full feature set.

Partial (CNAME) Setup — Keep your nameservers. CNAME a hostname onto Cloudflare's proxy:

www.example.com  CNAME
  → www.example.com.cdn.cloudflare.net

Limits: only A/AAAA/CNAME proxiable. No DNS-layer DDoS, no CF DNSSEC, Tunnel and Email Routing need manual setup.

▸ Proxy Status The magic Anycast toggle.

Proxied — traffic enters Cloudflare's Anycast network at the nearest of 330+ data centers. Origin IP hidden. WAF, cache, Bot Management, Workers all run here.

DNS-only — Cloudflare just answers the query and hands back your origin IP. No proxy, no protection.

▸ Certificate Management Universal SSL (visitor → CF) is free, auto-renewed, and publicly trusted. On Full setup, covers root + first-level subdomains automatically.
